Molly Bean, LCSW
Molly Bean (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. She earned her Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University in 2016. Molly worked at a child abuse intervention center for nearly ten years; four of those years were as a child and family therapist. Molly worked with clients in a private practice since 2018 and also has worked as a supervisor on a crisis hotline. Molly has extensive experience in trauma, vicarious trauma, and burn out, anxiety, depression, domestic violence, loss and crisis. She has experience working with individuals across all ages. Molly finds that that the most important aspect of therapy is feeling trust and connection between the clinician and client and that it is a great privilege that many people have chosen to trust her with their most challenging experiences and feelings. Molly is able to offer emotional support, assessment, treatment, parenting education, psychological education and trauma informed treatment. She believes in the resiliency of people and encourages clients to identify and use their own strengths to reach their goals. Molly prides herself in providing warm, honest, professional and non-judgmental services. Reaching out for help is a very difficult and powerful step, and I’m honored to be a part of the journey to health.
